Richard Deleurme

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard Deleurme on Oct 2, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Marie-Anne Loeppky (Paul) and This email address is being protected from spambots.           Richard was predeceased by his father, Aurele in 2019 and his mother Yvonne (Bourdeau d’Hui) in 2011.

Richard was born on December 28, 1960 and was raised in the St. Claude area where he attended St. Claude School Complex.  After high school, he worked at United Feeds where he enjoyed meeting and assisting many people in the area. After a few years, he decided to return to the family farm to work with his dad.  Richard acquired many rental properties in the area during this period and enjoyed the challenges that this brought.

Richard took great care of mom and dad in their senior years by taking them to appointments and checking in on them daily.

Richard enjoyed being outdoors.  He loved to fish and looked forward to trips to Grand Rapids every summer.  He enjoyed the simple things in life from taking care of his pets and spending time with family.

Many thanks to the staff at the Carman Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion while Richard was a patient there.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.  Memorial donations can be made to Carman Palliative Care in Carman Manitoba.
