Warren Ross Kaminsky

November 27 1949- August 5 2022

Our hearts are broken. On August 5, 2022 our family lost the sweetest, most caring, patient & genuine Papa, Husband & Dad, Honorary Papa, Nephew & friend.  Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife Debbie; children Paul Kaminsky, Carly & Derek Boklaschuk; Granddaughter Lennyn; Aunt Janis Kaminsky & Honorary Family Josh, Lisa, Bohannon & Maverick Karlowsky.  As well as a large extended Family & Lifelong Friends who will miss him dearly.  He was predeceased by his parents Bill & Edna Kaminsky, Granddaughter Shea & Aunt Ellen Hirst.

Aunt Janis remembers him being a quiet, caring & loving kid.  He had a huge love for farming from a young age which he credits to his Grandpa Fred.  He graduated from Sanford Collegiate & as a young adult he completed his Surveying certificate at Red River Community College to become Crew Chief for various surveying companies that took him all over Manitoba.

Mom & Dad shared many great years camping, travelling to Arizona countless times, Hawaii, Mexico, The East Coast- no matter where their journeys took them he always met new friends.

He had a great sense of humor & always had a good joke, Trailer Park Boy quote or chuckle to share with anyone.  He loved his family, farming, chocolate, ice cream, PBR's, Rum, a good glass of scotch & visiting & sharing laughs with friends.  He hated light beers, Bi Pole & Justin Trudeau.  He could grow a great mustache, rocked denim like nobody's business & had no problem puttering around slowly in the Heavy C or Daisy the Delivery Van. Unless there was a Tractor & Cultivator needing operating, then Sunday driving was forgotten, and he was transported back to his younger years finding the speed of his Dodge Dart to lend a hand before someone else stole his favourite job.

His roles were endless, he was beyond selfless & he just never stopped helping others.  He was the sweetest man who rarely got upset or riled up, had the patience of a saint, was always willing to listen & he had an amazing ability to make everyone feel special & loved.

Paul & Carly always fought over who was #1 but as soon as Lennyn came along that battle was clearly done- Papa was his favourite title to wear.

Private interment has taken place & an informal “Happy hour” in celebration of his life will be held at the Community Hall in Brunkild on Wednesday, August 24th 2022 at 5:00 p.m.  Casual Dress Attire.

Memorial Donations in his name can be made to any Access Credit Union Branches in Manitoba. “ICU Nurses HSC”
