WINNIFRED DAISY CLARK
It is with great sadness that we say Goodbye to our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Winnie Clark, who passed away peacefully at the Boyne Lodge on June 4th, 2020 at the age of 95 years. She will be forever missed by her children: Carrol (Clive) Dales, Elaine (Leonard) Wiens and Bob (Brenda) Clark. She also leaves behind her cherished Grandchildren: Donna (David) Puff, Tiffany Dales, Chris (Lisa) Dales and Great Grandchildren: Hannah Puff, Shelby and Madelyn Dales, all of whom she was very proud of.
Mum was loving and loyal, always having time and energy for her family and friends, offering advice and encouragement. She thoroughly enjoyed any opportunity to go watch her family participate in activities, play a sport or gather for family celebrations.
Mum was born to Hannah and Charles Hill on September 25, 1924 and was raised on the family farm near Miami. Mum worked as a telephone operator in Miami until meeting Dad. She married Bill Clark on January 12, 1949 and lived, farmed and raised their 3 children in the Kilmory School District until they moved to Carman in 2004. Mum also enjoyed her years working at Syls where she developed many good friendships and had fond memories of her time there. Mum enjoyed her family and community in many ways, helping with 4-H, Kilmory Good Deed Club, being a Legion and Game and Fish member. She spent many hours gardening, canning, sewing and knitting. Mum always enjoyed a good game of cribbage or cards, Bingo and trips to the Casinos. Mum and Dad also did a lot of fishing and camping making many friends and shared great experiences on their many road trips.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff at Boyne Lodge for their kindness, care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba or to the Boyne Lodge.
A private family service will be held with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
