Brenda Eileen McFarlane (nee Cummer)

July 2, 1957 – October 28, 2019

Brenda was born and raised in Elm Creek, MB. She was raised as a farm girl and loved to ride horses.  She left Manitoba for a short while, moved to Alberta where she had her first child, her daughter Crystal. She then moved to Carman to be close to family and had her second child, Colen.  Brenda spent her life devoted to her children and family.

She will lovingly be remembered by her daughter Crystal, son Colen, her grandson Ayden Henderson. Also left to remember her is her partner Cliff Major, her sister Pat Westfall (Harvey), brothers Ken Cummer (Kim), Brian Cummer (Shirley), Fred Cummer and many nieces and nephews who she adored.

She was predeceased by her father and mother, Gordon and Doris Cummer.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carman United Church.  Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Carman.

Memorial donations may be made to the Carman Legion, Branch #18, Box 98, Carman, MB, R0G 0J0 or CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
