Dianne Louise Brown

Dianne Brown, a long term resident of Carman Manitoba, died unexpectedly on March 7 at the age of 75 after a short bout of sickness.

Dianne is survived by her two sons Douglas, and Stephen; and her brother Thomas Kilbourn.   She was predeceased by her son, James, and her husband David

Dianne was born in Montreal, Quebec on October 10, 1943 to Irene and Frederic Kilbourn the older of their two children.   She was a home maker while raising her three son’s and later on became a small business owner running the PopShoppe for many years with her husband, a staple for all those who attended Carman Collegiate in the 80’s and 90’s.

Dianne was an avid gardener and an excellent crossword sleuth solving various crossword puzzles each day. She volunteered for many organizations in the town of Carman, including delivering meals for Meals on Wheels.  In her retirement years Dianne enjoyed traveling and going on various cruises with David. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.

At her request no funeral service will be held and there will be private burial for the immediate family on June 1, 2019. Donations can be made to a Cancer foundation of choice in her name. Dianne will be buried in the Greenwood cemetery in Carman, sharing the same plot with her son James and husband David.
