It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister, Bonnie Lou Johnson (Nee Becker) on Dec 31st, 2018 at the age of 59.
Bonnie is remembered by her son Chris (Chelsea) Johnson, her granddaughter Jersey Johnson, her sisters Shirley (Don) McIntyre, Carole (Russ) Sampson, Susan (Don) Sisson, Donna Becker, Kathy (Gary) Waschuk, her brothers Ken Becker, Glen (Doris) Becker, Brad (Susan) Becker.
She will also be remembered by all her Nieces, Nephews, extended family and friends.
Bonnie was predeceased by her Father, Ted Becker and her Mother, Rita Becker, her brothers Edward Becker, Raymond Becker and Dennis Becker.
Bonnie was born in Carman, MB, on Nov 29, 1959. She grew up on the family farm in Elm Creek with her parents and 11 siblings. Bonnie and her husband at the time (Ray) moved to Alberta in 1978 where they gave birth to their only child, Christopher in Olds, AB. They soon after moved to Fort McMurray where they raised their family. Mom was a school bus driver for many years before she quit and worked at Suncor as a warehouse attendant. After 35yrs in Fort McMurray she moved back to Manitoba in 2013 and ended up living back in Carman were she was born.
Bonnie’s greatest accomplishments and loves in life were her Son, daughter in-law and Granddaughter, family get togethers with all her siblings and her beautiful friendships she created over the years. Her heart and giving ways was like no other and she will be dearly missed by all.
A private funeral with her close family was held on Jan 4, 2019 at the Elm Creek Cemetery. Reception was held at Doyle’s Funeral home in Carman after the Funeral service.
We would like to thank, Carman Hospital and staff, Grace Memorial Hospital and I.C.U staff for helping and caring for Bonnie. The family appreciate all your efforts very much. Thank-you to Mark and Craig at Doyle’s Funeral home for the kindness, care and help. Big thank you to all my family and friends for being there and helping us through this tough time, we love you all.
