Vivian May Amison beloved wife of the late Victor Amison of Fort Garry, passed away September 13, 2018 at St. Boniface Hospital. Born August 12, 1931 in Carman, Manitoba to George and Helen Morgan, Vivian moved to Winnipeg in 1945 to attend school and live with her Aunt Margaret and help in her boarding house. She married Victor on July 14, 1951. Vivian worked at the Bank of Montreal before raising her family and later in life for Manitoba Home Care Services.

Vivian was predeceased by her husband Victor and life-long friends George and Eileen Kippen of Carman. She is survived by her sisters Georgina Swark, Shirley (Menno) Friesen; sons Brian (Maggie) and Bruce.

Service: Saturday September 22nd, 2pm at Doyle’s Funeral Home Carman, Rev. Cameron Schnarr officiating. Vivian was a long time member of Hope Lutheran and later Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Church 1541 St. Mary’s Road R2M 3V8.

Thanks to sister Georgina for her special care the past two years, family, friends and the staff at the Golden Door Nursing Home. “I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me will live even though he dies.”
