It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our son, Scott Douglas Cameron on February 8, 2018.

Scott was born March 13, 1980 at the St. Boniface Hospital to Jim and Donna Cameron.

Left to mourn are his beautiful daughter Alliyah, parents Jim and Donna, sisters Christine and Kathleen, special nephew Ryan and his constant companion Echo.

Scott grew up on an acreage in Charleswood where many hours were spent outdoors back and forth with the Foui kids. Camping, fishing and snowmobiling were among his favorite things to do. Spring of course was always baseball where Scott excelled at back catching much to the delight of Grandparents Doug and Doris Reid.

Schooling was completed in Charleswood, graduating from Shaftesbury High. On completion of his formal education he moved to Edmonton to work for his uncle Wayne while taking carpentry. He loved to build things and showed great aptitude with his attention to detail.

When health issues began to interfere with his life he moved back to Winnipeg where he could have the love and support of his family and friends. A highlight in his life was the birth of his daughter Alliyah.

Scott struggled with many health issues finding great comfort with his rescue dog Echo. Many times he thanked God he had him.

The family wishes to thank the WFD and WPS and animal control for their compassion and care during a very difficult situation. Thank you to our families and friends for your unwavering support.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roland United Church with Karen Tjaden officiating. Interment will take place in the Myrtle Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Manitoba All Shepherd Rescue, 82 Norham Rd. West St. Paul, Manitoba, R4A 2A8.
