Florence Winona Campbell

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Winona Campbell on November 19, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Robert Campbell.

Winona was born January 6, 1924 in Miami, Manitoba the only child of John and Agnes Warner.  She spent most of her years there. She got her schooling at Mt. Glen School. Mom met the love of her life Bob and they were married on July 3, 1946. Together they raised 4 children. Mom always enjoyed the family gatherings she and Dad hosted at the farm. There was always a bowl of tomato soup and a salmon sandwich when family stopped by. She was a member of the Miami UCW and Rebecca Lodge. Mom was a very loving caregiver to her parents, aunts, and uncle.

Winona was predeceased by her true love, Bob; infant son, Jackie; her parents, John and Agnes (Stirling), in-laws Archie and Grace Campbell; brothers-in-law Bert (Mae), Cohn and Bev.

Left to mourn are her children Brian (Donna), Brandon, Graham, and Derek; Carla (Les) Pritchard, Jeff and Shawna, Tanya (Geoff) Morrison; Nola (Harold) Cox, Dallas and Jodi, Kevin and Carly, Tyler and Melanie, Trevor and Amber; Joyce (Duncan) MacGregor, Andy, Shannon. Great grandchildren Brody, Darian (Jordan), Brooke, Madison, Bryce, Sophia, Mason, Dawson and one great-great granchchild Braxton; one brother in-law Neil (Joey) Campbell, nieces and nephews as well as her cherished childhood friend, Winnie Clark.

A kinder heart there never was.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Doyle’s Funeral Home.  Interment will take place in Miami Cemetery.

The family would like to express our appreciation to all staff at the Boyne Lodge, Doyle’s Funeral Services and all those who have helped us through this difficult time.
