Faux Beth orig photoElizabeth (Beth) Faux (Nee COATES)

January 2, 1960 – December 15, 2016

With family by her side, Beth Faux passed away on Thursday December 15, 2016 at Boundary Trails Health Centre.Born to Walter and Elsie Coates, Beth was the youngest of three children. She was raised on the family farm south of Graysville, MB

She married Ray Faux of Roseisle, MB on May 12, 1979 and together they raised three children, Jacquie, Curtis and Cody on the Faux Family farm at Roseisle. Later in her life, she went back to school to obtain her Bachelor of Nursing and became a nurse, a profession she truly loved and excelled at. She was so proud of this achievement as were her family and friends. She spent the last 13 years nursing and in management.

Besides caring for others, Beth loved her family and friends passionately. She loved to garden and tend to her beautiful yard, garden and flowers, which her and Ray worked on together for years. She also loved to take out her Harley for a ride and was so excited when she received her motorcycle licence.

Her pride and joy were her children and of course her grandchildren Ella and Tyler. There was hardly a weekend that went by that she didn’t spend time with her grandkids.

Beth was kind, caring, passionate and most recently she was referred to as a gem, a beautiful woman inside and out. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

A celebration of Beth’s life was held on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Carman United Church with internment prior at Greenwood Cemetery.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Jacquie (Eric) Griffin, Curtis (Jennifer Ching) Faux and Cody Faux, her grandchildren Ella and Tyler Griffin, her mother Elsie Coates, brothers Bill (Corrine) Coates, Bob (Caroline) Coates, Ray’s sisters Elaine (Barry) Gillingham and Marlene (Dennis) Doerksen as well as many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Ray Faux, father Walter Coates, parents in-law Kip and Laura Faux, sister-in-law Yvonne Neumann, brother-in-law Vic Neumann and nephews Cliff and Ron Neumann.
