George W. Thiessen
November 11, 1948- November 20, 2014
With his wife and family by his side George journeyed into his eternal home on November 20th, 2014 at the Carman Hospital.
George’s interests in life have been riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, and playing crib, old cars and old time dancing. He truly enjoyed visiting with people and could be such a tease.
Most of his working years involved working for farmers and construction involving operating heavy equipment.
His faith and trust in God became especially important to him in this last month. He prayed that those he had wronged would forgive him. He was baptized by Pastor Bob Pauls on Sunday November 16th, 2014.
He has been reunited with his father and mother Peter and Agatha Thiessen, younger brother John (just last December) and his mother-in-law Anna Klassen.
Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife Audrey Klassen, Daughter Carrie (Travis) Dubois, Son Stephen (Joelle) Thiessen and their mother Michele. His precious and deeply loved grandchildren Hailey & Carter Dubois. 5 brothers Issac, Dave (Cheryl), Pete, Will (Colleen) and Jake all of Roseisle. His Sister Tina (Al) Morgan of Miami, brother-in-law Howard Klassen and their families. The Meyer family, cousins and many friends.
Funeral service took place November 25th, 2014 at Carman Mennonite Church. Internment at the Elm Creek Cemetery.
