Francis Stewart McIntyre youngest son of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Cameron McIntyre. Stewart was born in Winnipeg but lived his life on the home farm at 22-9-4 in the district of Culross, MB. Where he farmed with his father and three brothers. Stewart was the last of the “McIntyre boys”.

He received his education at the Giltedge schools. He married Jean McCrea in November 24, 1956 and they lived on the home farm until Jeans’ passing in June of 2005. Stewart remained on the farm until September 2006 when he moved to the 5th Avenue Apartments in Carman where he resided until his passing.

Stewart was predeceased by his mother, Frances Mary (Minnie) in 1973, his father John Cameron (Jack) in 1975, his brother Cameron and wife Ina, his brother Dougald, and his wife Vivian, his brother Norman and wife Peggy. He is survived by one nephew Bryan (Janice) McIntyre two nieces Frances (Leonard) Friesen and Donna (Mike) Townley, one sister-in-law Lorraine (George) Tibbett and one brother-in-law Donald (Charlene) McCrea, one first cousin Marion Stewart, and numerous great nephews & nieces, great great nephews & nieces, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Doyle’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will take place in the Elm Creek Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations can be made to Boundary Trails CancerCare, Box 2000, Winkler, MB, R6W 1H8. Thank you to the medical staff of Carman Hospital for the excellent care and Paul and Doris from 5th Ave. for their care and visits.
