As his family sang and surrounded his bed, Jack passed from this life into the presence of his Lord on June 29, 2012 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre.

Born on July 11, 1928 on the home farm near Belmont, MB, Jack was the fourth child of John and Ada Yeo. He had two brothers and two sisters.

He married Marion Lewis on July 22, 1950 and together they raised five children. Jack farmed the Belmont home farm until 1963 when they moved to Marion's home farm near Roland, MB.

In 1971, the family moved from the farm to Carman where he worked at the Co-op and then at Massey Ferguson. During that time, Jack and Marion began painting which developed into a full time business for fifteen years.

Throughout his life, Jack enjoyed horses... breaking them, driving teams, polishing their harness and judging at the local fairs. His other interests were varied from curling to tending his gardens. He enjoyed watching and cheering his sons and grandsons play hockey. He loved music and when his third daughter was born he prayed that they would sing together as a trio. As opportunities came, he encouraged and drove them to various churches to sing. He was committed to loving and caring for his wife and family. He was proud of each one. Jack and Marion lived life together – working, serving, playing and praying. Jack's devotion to Jesus Christ was evident in his daily living. He served as Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher, and board member in Belmont, Roland, Roseisle and Carman. But he believed the Christian life should be fun and he initiated fun wherever he went.

In his retirement years, Jack continued to serve others. He drove people to appointments, helped with congregate meals, and took time to visit, care and share a joke. And he always had time for his children and grandchildren. Every summer, Jack and Marion attended and supported Manhattan Beach camp, sacrificing and investing spiritually in their children and grandchildren.

Although he is now enjoying his eternal reward, we will miss his presence in the room. He will always be loved and remembered by his wife, Marion, of 62 years; his children: Yvonne (Allen) Downey, Vinetta Sanderson, Arvilla (Gord) Reimer, Glenn (Sandra) Yeo, Weldon (Laurie) Yeo; his grandchildren: Jeff & Jason Downey, Jaylene (Jason) Gervais, Lee (Jen) Reimer, Sonia (Warren) Picton, Dallas Reimer, Chad (Tami) Yeo, Brian Yeo, Nathan Yeo (Janine Owen), Tamara (Jason) Janzen, Tynille (Dustin) Kehler, Talaya (Rob) Unruh; and his great grandchildren: Eliah, Avrielle, Vienna & Xavier Gervais, Morgan & Macy Reimer, Paige Yeo, Cohen & Paxton Janzen, Kya & Addison Kehler, and baby Unruh. Also fondly remembered by his brother, Harry, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Jack was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Mary & Clara; brother, Tom; grandson, Jamie Sanderson; and son-in-law, Ira Sanderson.

Heaven's sounding sweeter all the time, Dad! See you at the gate!
