Raymond William Thomas Faux
September 28, 1958 – September 2, 2011
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle; Ray Faux on September 2, 2011.
Remaining to forever cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 32 years, Beth (nee Coates), daughter Jacquie (Eric) Griffin, and sons Curtis and Cody. Granddaughter Ella Rae Griffin. Sisters, Elaine (Barry) Gillingham, Marlene (Dennis) Doerksen, and Beth's family Elsie, Bill (Corrine) and Bob (Caroline) Coates, as well as many numerous nephews and nieces.
Ray was predeceased by his parents Kip and Laura Faux, sister Yvonne Neumann, nephews Cliff and Ron Neumann and father-in-law Walter Coates.
Born in Carman and raised in Roseisle, he never moved away from the family farm. "Fibber" supported his family by working for the Manitoba Department of Highways. His love, dedication, and the well-being of his family was his number one priority. As a family, we enjoyed spending time together at the kids hockey and curling events. Snowmobiling and boating were also favourite family past times. We also fondly remember many family gatherings where we shared laughs and many good memories were created.
During his semi-retirement, Ray followed his other passion in life, riding his motorcycle. He could often be found enjoying the open road on his Harley Davidson, whether enjoying a ride alone or with family and friends, he loved riding his Harley.
A tribute to Ray's life was held on Wednesday September 7, 2011 at Carman United Church with interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
Ray was well respected, hard working, deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
