Kylie Frances Dawn Armishaw

With deep regret and sorrow we announce the tragic passing of Kylie on August 29, 2010, much loved daughter of Harry and Lorri Armishaw.

Kylie was born July 27, 1988 at Portage General Hospital.  She went from Nursery School through High School in Carman, graduating from Carman Collegiate in 2006.  Kylie attended Winnipeg Technical College where she obtained her Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate.  She was currently employed as an admitting clerk at Victoria General Hospital.

Kylie was a very vibrant and vivacious girl.  She was a very colorful person inside and out.  Her favorite color was plaid.  She was always up for fun, seeing new places, and trying new things.  She had a zest for life.

Kylie had a great sense of humor and wit, which she used often to illustrate the lighter side of any situation.  She had a smile that not only lit up her face but the whole room as well.  She was a loving thoughtful daughter, a great sister, proud auntie, a caring and loyal friend.

Kylie was predeceased by her grandparents George and Edna Bull and Bessie Armishaw.  Also her Uncles Bill Armishaw, George Dram and Dennis Sigurdson.  Besides her parents Harry and Lorri, Kylie leaves to mourn her brothers Ryan (Cyndi, Destinee, Devron, David and Daphnee), and Nicholas (Jodie and her special little K, Kieran).  The love of her life , the man who brought such joy and happiness to her life,  Richard Kenkel.  Her grandfather Thomas Armishaw, Aunts and Uncles, Jean and Jerry Cook, Ken and Carol Boak, Gwen Armishaw, Myrna Dram, Ken and Ferne Malcolm, Ron and Linda Hotel, Barbara Sigurdson, Thomas Bull, Len and Brenda Bull, Clarke and Noreen Munro, Doug and Joanne Henderson, and Dave and Linda Bull.  Also numerous cousins and close friends and her treasured cats Ruca and Tienna.

To know Kylie was to love her.  While we mourn her death, we are also blessed and grateful to have had her in our lives for 22 years, 1 month and 2 days.  We will treasure every single moment.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. from the Carman Mennonite Church with Pastor Trudy Thorarinson officiating.  Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman.  Viewing will take place from Doyle’s funeral Chapel on Wednesday, from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB. R3T 0R3 or to a charity of one’s choice.

Please do something nice for someone in Kylie’s memory, she believed in paying it forward.
