Clarence Skeavington

On Sunday, October 25, 2009 at his residence in Sperling, MB, Clarence Skeavington, beloved husband of Carol Skeavington passed away at the age of 75 years.

Clarence is survived by his wife Carol of 51 years, son Gary (Debbie) Skeavington, daughter Valerie (John) Peetz, one sister Dorothy (Wayne) Rogers, one brother Tom Hudson, one brother-in-law Roy Johnson as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandsons and twin great-granddaughters.  He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Edna Skeavington, and his brother Murray.

Dad was born and raised in the Sperling area.  Throughout the years he worked at various locations including Simon-Day, the sugar beet plant, the Ryall, and at Aubins Nursery.  He also spent some time as a school bus driver.  The one occupation that dad truly loved was farming.  He and mom farmed in the Sperling area for a number of years prior to their retirement to town.  Dad loved music and often spent time playing his guitar and singing.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
