October 29, 1949 ~ December 10, 2009

In the early morning hours of December 10, 2009 with Melanie at her side, Patti quietly and gently left us to enjoy forever her savior Jesus and the home prepared for her.

She leaves her husband Bill of 39 years, daughter Melanie and son Steve to cherish her memory.  Her life continues to be a gift to her mother Velma Orchard of Miami, sister Lynda (Bob) Pritchard of Roland, sister Arleigh (Rick) Hefford of Winnipeg, brother Doug (Barb) Orchard of Miami, sister Kathy (Dale) Lindbeck of Winnipeg, and sister Laurie Orchard of Winnipeg.  She will be lovingly remembered as well by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and faithful friends.

She was predeceased by her father Lloyd Orchard just 3 short years ago, and nephew Michael Pritchard in 1998.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 14,2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grant Memorial Baptist Church, 877 Wilkes Ave. Winnipeg, MB.  A private family interment will take place at the Miami Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Bird River Bible Camp (Box 11250, Lac de Bonnet, MB, R0E 1A0) so others can know the way home.  For heaven is after all, just home.
