To My Dad

Although I cannot touch you,

I only have to close my eyes and you are there.

You had a heart of gold, you taught me so very much.

With a broken heart I whisper low,

I love you, and will miss you so. As long as I live

I will always be glad, that I was your daughter,

And you were my dad.

Love always and forever, Darlene
