Helen Bayliss
Helen Bayliss aged 99 years, formerly of Miami, MB passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2009 at the St. Claude Health Centre. She was born January 26, 1910 the eldest of John and Agnes Dyck.
She is survived by her children Richard (Lynne) of Elkhorn, Nellie of Morden, Leslie (Maryanne) of Pennant, Sask., James (Glenda) of Miami, David (Fran) of Virden, Shirley (Mark) of Winnipeg, Larry (Alice) of Anola, Carrol (Larry) of Arden, Judy of Winnipeg, stepdaughter Helen Klages of Montana, step-daughter-in-law Annabel of Calgary, and Millie of Morden, 30 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by three sisters; Hannah, Elda, Doris and sisters-in-law Mary and Hazel Dyck, as well as numerous neices and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard, her two sons, Lyle and Clarence, three sons-in-law Roy Flack, Orne Evenson, and Ernie Doerksen, daughter-in-law Beth, stepsons, Murray, Howard, and Lawerence, and stepdaughter-in-law Beatrice.
She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Miami Community Centre in Miami, Manitoba with Rev. Allison Halstead officiating.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bayliss, Rick Bayliss, Michael Burtnick, Mark Bayliss, Tyler Oakes and Sheri Oakes. All remaining Grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.
