It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Jim Adams beloved husband of Helen on February 14, 2008. He is survived by son Dwight (Nancy), daughter-in-law Marsha, grandchildren Kristine (Tomas) Ritchie, Darin (DeAnn), Mark (Joelle), Karen (Jason) and great grandchildren Aurora, Avalon Ritchie, Mattias, Eliza Adams and Lauren Adams. Jim was predeceased by his parents Bill and Ruth Adams, his beloved son Gary Adams, his sister Helen (Ed) Brechin and his brother Doug Adams.

Jim was self-employed in the trucking industry for 45 years. He loved his work and enjoyed a full life with his love Helen for 67 years (anniversary Feb. 7th). They made yearly trips to the West Coast to visit their family and were constant supporters and number one fans of their son and grandchildren’s numerous curling, baseball, soccer, concerts and figure skating events etc. He loved fishing and boating and spent many happy years at Pye’s Landing, Lake of the Woods. Jim was a special man who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, even those he met for only a short while. He loved to talk and meet people and had a terrific sense of humor.

The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors at the Carman Memorial Hospital and The St. Boniface Hospital for the care he received.
