With sadness, we announce the passing of our much-loved sister, aunt, great-aunt and good friend, Wilma Ruth Swift on June 27, 2007.

Wilma was born in Altamont, the oldest daughter of the late Thomas and Emily Snowdon. She was predeceased by her parents; soul mate Barry Beatty; brother Gordon Snowdon, sister Muriel Snowdon, niece Debbie Grant and nephew Jeff Snowdon. She is survived by her brother Allan Snowdon, wife Arlene and son Don, of Saskatoon, sister Hazel Snowdon of Winnipeg, nephew Scott Snowdon of Altamont, niece Kelly Earis, husband Patrick and children April and Adam of Winnipeg.

Over the years, Wilma enjoyed her many sojourns with Barry. Las Vegas was one of their favorite spots. One of Wilma’s greatest passions was shopping. She loved clothes, shoes- you name it.

Wilma was a long time employee at the Royal Bank. After retirement she became an Avon Rep and sold advertising for AD FX. She loved the “people” contact. Wilma was a wonderful person and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Sincere thanks to the Doctors and staff of the Concordia Hospital for their excellent care.
