Parry Power, her childhood friend from Virden. Both Frankie and Parry lost a brother during WWII which brought them together again and lead to a long and fruitful marriage. Parry passed away in 1988.

They had 6 children over a period of 14 years and Frankie stayed at home to raise them. Among other things, she nurtured in her children a love of reading, music, theatre, and dance, which has enriched their lives. She and her husband were long-time active members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Winnipeg. There, at various times, she served in many capacities, including, as Second Reader, as a member of the Board of Directors, and in the Reading Room.

A private family service is planned. The family wishes to thank the staff of Meadowood Manor for the kindness and care given to Frances during her stay with them. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
